SENSEI CHRIS SIMPSON & SENSEI KATIE SIMPSON

SENSEI CHRIS SIMPSON, 4th DAN

runs the Shukokai Karate Academy along with his daughter Katie Simpson (4th Dan). The club is proud to be affiliated to the English Karate Federation (EKF).

Sensei Chris started training in Karate in 2000 after following his daughter Katie to National and International tournaments and taking photographs for the England team.

"Whilst watching the training and action through the lens of a camera, I realised just how much was involved in the understanding and development of Shukokai Karate. On returning from the World Championships in Berlin 2000 I vowed that I would start training and since then, as I reach one target, another is set." (… Sensei Chris)

Sensei Chris has trained under experienced instructors throughout his Karate life and is currently training to be an EKF Referee.

Sensei Chris is CRB checked and First Aid trained.
